Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do you ONLY work with empty-nest single parents?
A: While my marketing is geared towards single parents with adult children, I can work with you as long as you are a U.S. citizen age 18 and over and are eligible to get a passport. If you are an “empty nest” couple, this is also fine.

Q: Do you offer legal or immigration advice?
A: No. I don’t provide legal, immigration, or visa advice, as I am not an attorney. What I offer is general, educational guidance based on research and real-life experience — helping you think through options, timelines, and tradeoffs so you can make informed decisions before speaking with professionals if needed.

Q: Is this just for digital nomads?
A: No. This site is for people who are considering life abroad later in life — often after raising families or spending years in a single career. Some people work remotely, some don’t. The focus here is realistic planning, not chasing a lifestyle label.

Q: What is the cost of your services?
A: This depends on what needs to be taught and your budget. Book a meeting (complimentary) to discuss your specific circumstances.

Q: Can you work with citizens of other countries besides the U.S.?
A: Potentially. But I cannot help a non-US national get a passport, as I am not familiar with this process in other countries.

Q: Why should we hire you instead of someone else?
A: I appreciate that you have many options to help you move abroad. Many high-end coaches and providers are simply beyond the budget of most people. For example, the Nomad Capitalist only works with individuals who have a net worth of over $1 Million. Other relocation companies require a five-figure sum. I can help you for far less by helping you build a game plan that you can start executing immediately. Book a meeting to discuss your situation and goals.
